New Cards

Hello Bloggers,

I just wanted to share with you all that we recieved our new business cards today. They look great.  I can't wait for the banner and postcards to come in. As soon as they do you guys will be the first to know. Just a reminder for those who have read my blog regarding the charity trust event for Banfield Pet Hospital. It's May 8, at the Petsmart in Conyers. We will be there from 11am-4pm raising money for Banfield Pet Hospital. The money will go towards the animals who can not afford care. It's a great charity especially if you are a pet lover.

In other news, Monday, May 10 we have a wedding consultation with a beautiful couple. Their wedding is in Oct. Hopefully we can do their engagement photos and wedding photos. That would be great. I always figured that weddings would be too much of a hassel, but after working with some close friends of mine who are wedding photographers themselves my perception was changed. It's defintely exciting and nerve wrecking all at once. I really enjoy looking into the brides eyes and know how she feels. It's her BIG day! The flowers, the bridesmaid, the groomsmen, the groom, and lets not forget THE DRESS! Wow....It's amazing how they keep it together. Weddings are defintely challenging, but who doesn't like a good challenge. I know here at Amunet Studios we love a good challenge. I forgot to tell you about the wedding and engagement photos we are doing. The wedding will be August 28, 2010. The bride and the groom are a beautiful couple. This is defintely going to be an amazing wedding. We are taking their engagment phots on Monday, May 3. I will post some of their photos later that week. So thats it for now. Talk to you guys later.

16 Candles and The Miracle League

Hello fellow bloggers,

Well let me catch you up with whats been going on with us.  The last two days we have been really busy.  On the 26th of April, our daughter celebrated her "Sweet 16."  We took her out to dinner at her favorite restaurant Joe's Crab Shack.  We had a great time with friends and family.  We orderd her cake from Publix.  I know you must be thinking "Publix," but they did a phenomenal job on her cake.

So brides if you are looking for an inexpensive wedding cake, try Publix. They have great designs, and beautiful cakes for an affordable price. Defintely two thumbs up!

Thank you Publix and Joe's Crab Shack for a memorable afternoon and evening.

So, that explains the 16 candles. Today, I spoke with someone who is in charge of a charity benefit being held in June. Amunet Studios is going to try and become sponsors for The Miracle League. We are so excited. This is a charity that is near and dear to our hearts. The charity will be June 9, 2010 at the "Oaks Golf Course" here in Covington. How amazing to have an opportunity to help those children with special needs get a baseball field of their own. We will keep you all posted.

To Buy or Not to Buy (That is the question)?

Good Morning bloggers,

In last nights blog, I wrote that Amunet Studios will be investing in some lenses soon. I have been doing my home work and decided to narrow the choices down to these particular lenses. Some are on the pricey side, so those will be going into our wish list. "6000 Strong"

Hello fellow bloggers,

Okay, so today was a pretty interesting day.  The day started out by taking the dog to Banfield to get his stitches out.  While I was there I got to finalize all of the preparations for the Charity Trust event on May 8th. Adam and I will be purchasing a banner with our company logo along with some canvas postcards to hand out during the event. After speaking with the office manager at Banfield, I went home to finish up some last minute orders (ROTC) my parents from the high school put in. I know by now you are probably wondering why the title of today's blog is named "6000 strong." The reason why I named it "6000 strong" is because Amunet Studios has the opportunity to do a family reunion in July. Our potential client (who happens to be a parent of a ROTC student) asked us if we did family reunions. Of course our answer was yes. After speaking with him for a while, he stated that this would be no ordinary family reunion. He went on to say that they hold this reunion every year, and that every year the reunion was 6000 members strong. After intially hearing that outstanding number, I took a step back, took a deep breathe and said "No problem." Adam will have a consulation with him this Monday April 26. Hopefully things will pan-out. Of course, the responsible photographers we are we will have more photographers with us that day. I guess it's time to invest in some more lenses. Probably the 70-200 telephoto lens and defintely the wide angle zoom lens. So, that was my day. I will keep you all posted in regards to the meeting on Monday. Other wise than that, I will talk to you guys tomorrow. Oh, and did I mention that we are excited about this gigantic endeavor. YAY us!!!

Doggie Dog World

Hello fellow bloggers, as promised I will not bore you with nonsense. Therefore, today I would like to let everyone know that Amunet Studios has the greatest opportunity to do some community service. As some of you may know we have a dog-named Loki, he is half pit bull and chocolate lab. The best dog ever, anyways he goes to Banfield pet hospital for all of his check-ups. Well, recently we had him neutered (control pet population) and we were informed that Banfield is having a charity drive to raise money for those unfortunate pets whose owners can not afford to pay their vet visit. After getting all of the details from their corporate office, Amunet Studios will be a sponsor at the charity drive. The event takes place May 8, 2010 from 11am-4pm at

Banfield Pet Hospital
1370 Dogwood Drive
Conyers, Ga.

There will be a $2.00 charge if you would like to take a photo with your pet. The $2.00 will be a donation to the charity drive. Banfield will be selling raffle tickets for $5. The winner of the raffle will get our $99 package (this will include 1-8x10, 2-5x7, 24 wallets, and image on CD.) There will be a $2.00 charge if you would like to take a photo with your pet. It's Our First Time

Okay, so this is our first official blog. We want to begin by saying thank you to all of our friends and fellow photographers for supporting Adam and I in this great adventure. LOL...wow that sounds like I am accepting the Academy Award for newbie of the year. I will get better, I promise or at least I will try not to bore you with the same thing week by week. I would like to say though that we have successfully completed 138 ROTC students from Newton High School. For those who do not know where that school is located, it is in Covington, Ga. It was NO easy task by any means. Amunet Studios has learned a thing or two on what to do better and what to avoid next time. Needless to say it was quit an experience and we look forward to doing it again next year with the new up coming cadets.

Thank you GySgt. Smith, CWO4 Coleman and Newton High School for allowing Amunet Studios take the photos and having a memorable experience with the students of Newton High School. We defintely look forward to next year.
